Everyday we did our Whakatauki and Kapa Haka practice
Whakatauki:
Kia tupu ai enei kakano hei rakau nui
May these tender seedlings grow into mighty trees
Day 1: Learning body parts in Te Reo Maori
Day 2: Colours in Te Reo Maori also colouring tiki/pounamu to wear on our big day (Kapa Haka performance). Learning the colours used for pounamu e.g. different shades of green
Day 3: Whakapapa and Waiata
Day 4: Aroha 1 making Maori Puipui using straw and string
